Kenneth E. Nolan one of three volunteers selected to be recognized by the Boy Scouts of America with the prestigious Silver Beaver Award. The Heart of America Council is pleased to honor Kenneth Fuenfhausen for his commitment to provide outstanding service to young people as adult volunteers in the Scouting program for many years.
Kenneth E. Nolan’s passionate mission for over 26 years has been building a quality Scouting Program. Since 1983, this retired manager from Hallmark Cards has distinguished himself through his service as Cubmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster, and Webelos Leader. He has shared his leadership talents with the Thunderbird District as Assistant District Commissioner, Unit Commissioner, Campsite Commissioner and Training Coordinator. Woodbadge trained and member of the Council’s Maintenance Team.
Ken has been recognized with the District Award of Merit, Commissioner’s Key, Commissioner’s Arrowhead Award, Silver Acorn Award, and the Daniel Carter Beard Masonic Scout Award. A respected Sagamore in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say, his commitment to his church and community continues as a member of the Blue Ridge Presbyterian Church and East Gate Masonic Lodge
