R-7 occupational therapist and the efforts of local

Eagle project builds Meadow Lane Elementary an outdoor classroom

Meadow Lane Elementary teacher Kerrie Creemer
dreamed of an outdoor classroom. As a Chamber
of Commerce Excellence in Teaching Award winner
last spring, she received the Hertzog Leadership
Award presented through the Lee’s Summit
Economic Development Council. The award
is in honor of Dr. Robert “Bud” Hertzog,
a former Board of Education member.
