It was incorrectly stated in a department news release issued Wednesday

Linda:

Concerning our conversation earlier, I think this should cover it. We have reissued the news release (which you probably received) noting the correction.

“It was incorrectly stated in a department news release issued Wednesday that a case involving landfill gas at Lee’s Summit Sanitary Landfill had been referred to the Missouri Attorney General’s Office. The case remains with the department, and the city is working closely with the department to address the issue.”
