Marjorie P. Yates 88 of Lee's Summit, Missouri passed away on Sunday Dec. 27, 2009 at the Village Care Center in Lee's Summit, Mo. Graveside services were Thursday Dec. 31, 2009 at Forest Hill Cemetery 11:30am in Kansas City, Missouri. Visitation was from 10:00 to 11:00am Thursday at the Langsford Funeral Home.
Marjorie was born on March 25, 1921 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert G. Yates and 1-brother Robert Pierce. Survivors are daughter Georgia Attebery and her husband Ward of Archie, Missouri. Three sons- Paul Woodson and wife Sandra of Kansas City, Missouri, Robert Yates and wife Beverly of Alloway, New Jersey and Michael Yates of Little Rock, Arkansas.
