Sean Ahern of Lee's Summit Near the Finish Line of Pikes Peak Marathon

Sunday,  Sean Ahern runs the Pikes Peak Marathon in 5 hours, 53 minutes and 22 seconds.
104th out of 514 runners

Overall Ahern was 19th out of 111 Doublers.  Doublers are runners who finished both Ascent and Marathon. 2010
was Ahern's first Doubler.

On Sunday the weather was sunny, start temps in the 60s, finish temps hot, in the 80s, approaching 90. Summit was windy with sustained winds about 20 mph.

Ahern first Pikes Peak Marathon was in 2009.

2009 and 2010 Sean Ahern was the only Marathon runner from Lee's Summit, MO.
