Sean Ahern, 42, races to the summit of 14,115-foot Pikes Peak during the Ascent race Saturday, Aug. 21, 2010 in 3 hours, 33 minutes and 25 seconds.
Rick Troeh, 45, of Independence finishes in 4 hours, 18 minutes and 27 seconds and Marci Gray, 38, of Blue Springs finishes in 5 hours, 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Out of 1166 runners Ahern finishes number 216th.
Pikes Peak Ascent is 13.32 miles and a 7.815 foot vertical gain.
