The Jackson County Traffic Safety Task Force will be conducting a Sobriety Check Point in Combination with DWI Saturation Patrols east of Interstate 435 during the weekend of July 31st thru August 2nd 2009. The Jackson County Traffic Safety Task Force is made of multiple agencies within Jackson County who attempt to arrest impaired drivers and other violators of the law and to keep all roadways in Jackson County Safe.

Projects such as this are primarily funded through Grants provided by the Missouri Department of Transportation and Highway Safety Division.
